Hydration…it’s so important but it’s also so easy to forget to drink water throughout the day. That’s where Rainbow Water comes in! It’s so colorful and it’s easy to mix up the flavors. Citrus oranges or mint or blueberries, the options are endless.
I usually always have a water bottle by me. I like to think it helps me drink more water but really, sometimes I just forget it’s there. I don’t make infused water on a regular basis, but sometimes it’s just nice to mix things up and add a little flavor to the water!
I wanted to share another drink recipe with you and since I’m still sticking with healthy-ish January, this seemed like the perfect option. If you want it to be a little fancy you can even top off your drink with sparkling water! That would work really well with the mint flavored one.
I feel a little bit silly even sharing this as a recipe…there’s really no measurements and you can make these in any size glass. It’s more of a recipe to give you a starting point for different flavor combinations. The combinations are endless! Just look in your fridge to see what you have on hand and experiment from there!
I would recommend drinking the water the same day you make them. I let some of the water sit overnight and the flavors were way too overpowering. If you do want to make a big batch of these, I recommend letting the fruit infuse the water for several hours, then try taking out the fruit before storing in your fridge.
The most colorful recipe to brighten up your January!
If you make this Rainbow Water, be sure to comment. I love hearing your thoughts and suggestions!
