Have you ever been in a hurry to make a dessert but you have no idea what to make?
Or you have a group of guests that all have every different tastes or allergies? Yeah, me too. I’m so excited to share this simple dessert!

So what exactly is a dessert board? I based the concept off a cheese board – sample, bite sizes with lots of options. Like an appetizer made for dessert.

First you start with 1 or 2 of your favorite dipping sauces. I chose peanut butter dip and a chocolate yogurt dip. But other great options would be marshmallow dip, Nutella, cheesecake dip. Really anything you can think of would be great!
Then you grab bite-sized munchies. This could be as simple as marshmallows or as involved as making mini chocolate chip cookies.

This is my favorite type of dessert since normally, I want to try a little bit of each dessert and this is the perfect compromise! The idea is shareable dessert, where everyone can sample a little bit of everything. Something for the fruit lovers and something for the chocolate lovers!

If you have time to plan ahead you can make (or buy) mini cheesecake, cookies, or brownies. I based my board off someone that doesn’t have much time – the dips could not be easier.

For the chocolate yogurt dip, it’s really just chocolate yogurt sweetened with some honey and cinnamon. I know, almost too embarrassingly easy to be sharing with you! For the nut butter dip, I just used almond butter from Costco and thinned it out with a little bit of almond milk. Has anyone else ever bought the Costco almond butter? It’s always a very thin almond butter, but I guess this is the perfect use!

Tell me what your perfect dessert board looks like!
